Hi there,

I am in the middle of a house sale with my ex wife. I have no lawyer at the moment, and currently have a date in court for 24th June, and then a Final hearing on 11th August, this year.

in brief...

We bought the house 10 years ago for £90,000. We divorced in 1998, and she stayed in the house with our little girl. I continued to give her a substantial amount of money every month, which I assume she used for child maintenece and the mortgage.

She now wants to sell the house and basically keep 100% of the equity, which is in the region of £130/145,000. This is unfair. With decent legal representation i know I will get between 30 and 40 %. The thing is, at the moment I cannot really afford a lawyer and wanted to know if your firm took on anything like this on a no win no fee, because I cant lose ? Its more of a 'how much can I recoup'.
